Yesterday was tough

Currently, I am following my own program for quitting coffee. No easy task for someone that would rather have a cup than eat.

This week is my two-cup-a-day week. I made the worst mistake ever and didn't space my cups out very well. I had one when we got up with the kids for school (around 7:15am) and it seemed like I would cease to function if I didn't have another around 10:30am. So I thought I'd be brave and have my cup then and see what happened. (I honestly thought I would not make it...) I surprised myself and did it, but man it was tough. I felt like I was quitting smoking or on a diet...I had visions of black coffee dancing in my head.

If felt great to not give in, but my wife said I was off yesterday. Off as is not catching on fire or seeming outside the family loop for a day.

Whomever came up with the phrase "What a difference a day makes" was a genius. I think it was someone's grandmother or grandfather. They always speak the good stuff.

I would love to consider your quitting coffee story for my upcoming ebook. Email me anytime at sam@howiquitcoffee.com. Keep checking the website for the grand debut sometime in 2009 at http://www.howiquitcoffee.com. Also, I welcome anyone to follow this blog or some of my others. Always, I wish you well. If I can do it, anyone can.

Yours in success,

Sam Prindle
